We’re Moving Toward Better Things

Daymakers Moving & Storage was built on a philosophy of helping people—that’s what movers do—but we’ve taken that beyond customer service to also include giving back to the community. Why Daymakers? Because sometimes we all need a little help moving forward. We consider ourselves blessed, and believe in getting involved whenever possible. We’re proud to offer time, trucks, manpower, and financial support to these programs:

Move for Hunger—Daymakers provides trucks and volunteers for area food drives, and also delivers hundreds of pounds of nonperishable items from customers who would rather donate them than move them.

Furniture for Families—Customers who are downsizing or replacing items during a move often donate old furniture—Daymakers picks up and delivers these pieces to local families in need.

Recovery Programs—We donate 10 percent of our net profits to alcohol and drug recovery programs in the area to help people move past the difficult times in their lives.

Emergency Moves—Daymakers offers free moving services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, taking them quickly and discreetly to a safe place. If someone you know is in need of a safe place, contact one of the organizations we partner with for assistance.
